Current Plans and Studies
The Planning and Development Department, in collaboration with the City Council, Planning and Zoning Review Board, and the public, engages in many long-range planning efforts. The planning activities include preparation of studies and plans that will direct the community in how it should grow and what changes may be required to meet the needs of the public for years to come.
Below are the current plans and studies adopted by the City of Roxboro for planning purposes;
- Joint Comprehensive Land Use Plan (adopted with Person County) - 2021
- Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan - 2025
- Comprehensive Transportation Plan (adopted with Person County) - 2011
