City Manager
The City of Roxboro operates under the Council-Manager Form of Government, the most common form of government. Characteristics include:
- The Mayor and City Council Members are elected bipartisan, every 4 years
- The Mayor Pro-Tempore is selected by being the elected council member with the majority votes
- Council appoints a City Manager to carry out day-to-day professional administrative operations
- City Council oversees the general administration, makes policy, and sets the city budget
