The City of Roxboro is taking applications for (1) available position on the Tourism Development Authority (PCTDA), which was created by both Person County and the City of Roxboro governing boards as required by NC General Statutes for the purpose of distribution of funds generated by the hotel/motel occupancy tax for travel and tourism activities.
This board member opening is for an unexpired term ending December 31, 2028, MUST BE A CITY RESIDENT and actively promote travel and tourism within Roxboro and Person County. The Person County Tourism Development Authority (PCTDA) holds regular meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 2:00 PM. Meetings take place in the conference room of the Person County Visitor & Information Center, located at 2800 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573, unless otherwise posted.
