Since this is an election year, the City of Roxboro would like to remind candidates and property owners of the N.C.G.S. regulations for signage within the public rights-of-way. Please remember that signs should be placed no earlier than the 30th day before the first day of early voting and should be removed within 10 days following election day. Temporary signage placed outside of the public rights-of-way should follow the same period of time.
For more information on signage within the right-of-way, please visit this site; https://www.ncleg.gov/EnactedLegislation/Statutes/PDF/BySection/Chapter_136/GS_136-32.pdf.
