Always call 9-1-1 for life-threatening emergencies.

Remember 911 is free from a pay phone.

  When reporting an emergency:
  Remain clam
Speak Clearly
Provide exact information - location and phone number
Describe the emergency
Answer questions
Stay on the line. Do not hang up until the dispatcher tells you to.
Emergency Preparedness & Response

An emergency can strike at work, at home, or anywhere in between. Do what you can to be prepared.

  Preparing Emergency Supplies
  Recent history has shown emergencies can strike with little or no warning. You may not have access to water, food, electricity and other utilities for weeks. Maintain at least two weeks supply of some basic items that may one day save a life.

Water (1 gallon per day per person)
Radio (separately packaged, extra batteries)
Flashlight (separately packaged, extra batteries)

Blanket/Clothing (warm)
Food (canned with can opener)
Shoes (sturdy)
First Aid Kit
Fire Extinguisher
Cellular Phone

Miscellaneous:

Crowbar
Tool Kit
Hygiene Kit
Plastic Garbage Bags
Mess Kit (eating)
Clothing (extra)
