REQUEST for QUALIFICATIONS North Main Street Sidewalk C-5145 June 1, 2011
The NCDOT has awarded the City of Roxboro a Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) Grant for the design and construction of a sidewalk to promote walking and reduce traffic along North Main Street. The City of Roxboro requests qualifications for professional engineering services to be submitted for the construction administration for a new sidewalk to be installed on North Main Street.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND LOCATION The purpose of this Request for Qualification is to select a consultant, pre-qualified by NCDOT, to administer the construction of a sidewalk extending from an existing sidewalk on North Lamar Street to Carver Drive along North Main Street. The project will consist of approximately 4,000 liner feet of sidewalk and associated construction to accommodate the sidewalk along an existing thoroughfare in a mixed business and residential area
SCOPE OF SERVICES Consultant services that may be required include the following: • Construction Observation • Construction Administration • Review and approval of contract documentation.
SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS The City of Roxboro will receive written submittals until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Submittals received after this time will not be accepted. Submittals are to be made to:
