Greetings from the Roxboro-Person Police Athletic and Activity League (RP-PAAL) Board of Directors. We are excited to announce our plans to strengthen our city, county, and all its communities through relational opportunities for children and youth.
In fact, our work has already begun. We have organized our board, made clear our mandates, applied for non-profit status, and some of our team has already begun serving the community by coaching recreation league sports teams.
As each official portion falls into place, the community will be hearing even more from RP-PAAL, or “PAAL” for short.
PAAL will forge solid connections between our law enforcement agencies and families and young people across our entire county. We will use activities and athletics to build relationships, inculcate character, and imbue our communities with a sense of relational connection that will make a more peaceful society possible and create more opportunities for human flourishing.
Not only that, we will diligently work with other individuals and local agencies, institutions, and organizations to collaborate in efforts where our missions meet and to be a catalyst for new services as well.
We look forward to PAAL becoming a well-known, effective service to our community. We trust the entire city of Roxboro and Person County will be a fruitful field for volunteers, collaborative team members, and support as we pursue our mission with vigor and integrity.
