Meetings

Council meetings are held at City Hall in the Council Chambers on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. (unless otherwise advertised). The City Council works in conjunction with county officials to bring infra structure and industrial development for our citizens. Expanding water and sewer lines, a new and reorganized Public Works facility, two new fire department facilities and an ISO rating of only 4 are just some of the city improvements providing incentives for growth and development. City officials have endorsed a Land Use Plan to assist with "smart growth".
