About
Roxboro is Open for Business.
Roxboro has three primary areas of business, Uptown,
(Historic district), Madison Boulevard, and South
Madison (Durham Road). But this is by no means the
only place for business. Companies, storefronts
and service providers exist all over town.
There are a wide variety of shops ranging from cabinet
makers to Internet service providers and everything
in between. We invite you to join us in supporting
Economic Development of the City and County.
Roxboro's small communities, allows things to get
done without an inordinate amount of bureaucracy.
Communities support their employers in an effort
to achieve mutual success. Much more so than in
a large metropolitan area, companies are an integral
part of the fabric of a small community. Because
of this relationship mutual reliance readily translates
into a corporation's ability to get things done.

in 1746; part of Granville County from 1746-1752;
included in Orange County until 1778, and even part
of Caswell County until 1791/1792. By dividing Caswell
County into two squareseach side measuring
approximately twenty (20) miles in length, two counties
