Board of Adjustment

The Roxboro Planning Board, a voluntary board appointed by the Roxboro City council, currently has regular board member vacancies. Generally, the Board meets on the first Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m., unless otherwise posted. The Board makes recommendations on text amendments, special use permits, etc.

The Roxboro Board of Adjustment is a voluntary quasi-judicial board position appointed by the Roxboro City Council. Currently there are regular member and alternate member vacancies open. The Board meets generally on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m., unless otherwise posted. The Board makes decisions on variances, conditional use permits.

The City of Roxboro encourages applications from City residents only. If you are interested in a position on either Board you may contact the Planning Director or the City Clerk by call 336-599-3116 to request an application form; or you may print an application from the City’s web site www.cityofroxboro.com.
